Hell, Memento is not without plot holes, right? But nobody complains against that! Now, why would I bring up Memento into this specifically? because this film has a plot device similar to Memento. Okay, maybe it is not faultless - there are a number of loose ends which were a result of the writer biting off more than he could chew, too many juggling cats in the air etc. Unlike Wayne's World 1 & 2, this film actually has a story and a complex screenplay. This film shows that Carvey could be funny as a normal guy and did not need to be dressed as a buffoon and pull faces to make the easily humoured viewers laugh. On the other hand, Mike Myers became a much bigger star for several years before hitting his own nadir. The rock bottom of that downward slide was The Master of Disguise from which he never recovered. Wayne's World became a hit and on the basis of that, everyone stuck him in the mould of a weird buffoon. Dana Carvey got a raw deal in his film career.
